Woodland Trust Collaboration Project
This Ancient Wood has been acquired in a ground-breaking collaboration between The National Trust and The Woodland Trust. This project to restore the native trees, that had been felled in favour of saleable Douglas Firs, is estimated to take 200 years to complete. These images were made to document the early stages of restoration between 2019 – 2021 and are part of a larger developing project interrogating global sustainability, environmental and climate change issues and responses.
